Bali has amazing waves all year round, although the best time to visit is between April and October. During this time, the weather conditions and swell are better on the west coast of Bali, where most of the surf spots are located. From November until the beginning of March, it’s better to surf on the east coast of Bali.

Yes, we provide surf lessons in Bali for all levels, from beginners to advanced surfers. Our surf instruction and choice of surf spot will be individually tailored to your skill level.
A private surf lesson with The Wave Out costs 500K IDR and includes a surfboard, leash, and rash guard. The lesson lasts about 2 hours.
We also offer a surf package that includes 5 surf sessions for 2.2M IDR.

No, surfing in Bali is not inherently dangerous. However, there are a few spots that are very shallow and tricky to surf, and these should only be tackled by experienced surfers.
We select surf spots based on your skill level and will always take good care of you in the water.
